I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and have over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. I was born and raised in Orange County, California, in a multicultural community. I obtained my Bachelor of Arts with an emphasis on psychology from the University of California, Irvine.

Nili Askari is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has worked with individuals, couples and families with different issues pertaining to their lives. Prior to joining Progeny Psychiatric Group, Nili worked with dual diagnosis clients in an inpatient treatment center setting as well as in a private practice setting.

Rafael is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a graduate degree from California State University Dominguez Hills. In addition, Rafael has years of experience supporting foster children and their families, as well as various leadership roles working with children and adolescents. Outside of the practice, Rafael enjoys spending time with his two daughters and being active outdoors.

I am a Marriage Family Therapist who has been licensed since 2010. I have been fortunate to have worked with a variety of populations including mental health, high-risk youth, domestic violence, geriatrics, pregnant minors, treatment of those with AIDS. I specialize in the areas of eating disorder's, drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, depression and anxiety and grief and loss.

Born and raised in Southern California, Jason earned a B.A. in Criminology, Law and Society at UC, Irvine. Soon thereafter, Jason realized his passion for clinical work and completed his Master of Social Work (MSW) at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) with an emphasis on community mental health. Further, Jason acquired specialized training on Critical Race Theory (CRT) which was the core foundation of his graduate program.

Krista Small is an associate clinical social worker and has worked with individuals and families with different struggles pertaining to their lives. Prior to joining Progeny Psychiatric Group, Krista worked with youth, young adults, and their families in an intensive outpatient setting. Krista also worked with youth experiencing homelessness in Seattle, WA after finishing her masters at University of Washington. Her therapeutic approach focuses on tailoring treatment to each client’s individual and families needs and fostering a stable therapeutic connection where clients feel safe to be themselves and explore their areas of growth.
