"My own personal past experience with mental health as well as the experiences of friends and peers have encouraged me to want to contribute to the field. I want to reduce stigma around mental health and to better understand the ways in which people can receive the care they need."

Samantha is currently enrolled in Cal State Fullerton's graduate program, aiming to pursue a career as a therapist. Her personal journey with mental health, coupled with the experiences shared by others, has served as a profound inspiration for her to contribute to this field. Samantha's primary objective is to diminish mental health stigma and improve access to proper care for individuals. Beyond her academic pursuits, she finds solace in activities like drawing, writing, and prioritizing rest whenever feasible.
