Michelle is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. She received her Master’s of Science in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University. After graduating, she worked at an Urgent Care and joined a Medical Group in Los Angeles, California. Her experience showed the gap between medical and psychiatric care and how that connection is often ignored. This encouraged Michelle to pursue psychiatric- mental health.

 

Before joining Progeny Psychiatric Group, Michelle’s experience includes several years of working for a Psychiatric Group in Calabasas, CA where she saw young to older adults including dementia related cases. Her heart and passion is not only in caring for others but assisting patient’s in transitioning to wellness. Michelle loves to travel the world and she loves being exposed to different cultures and learning about their food. She likes being outdoors, hiking, and camping. Michelle currently lives in Huntington Beach, CA with her husband and their 2 children.
