Maria received her master’s in science from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa California. Before receiving her masters, she worked 10 years in an inpatient psychiatric hospital as a RN, nursing manager and infection control preventionist. Maria is Spanish speaking, sees patients of all ages, cultures and gender. Maria is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau.
