Lisa Friedman, LMFT #48368

I am a Marriage Family Therapist who has been licensed since 2010. I have been fortunate to have worked with a variety of populations including mental health, high-risk youth, domestic violence, geriatrics, pregnant minors, treatment of those with AIDS. I specialize in the areas of eating disorder's, drug and alcohol addiction, trauma, depression and anxiety and grief and loss. I have gained my experience working throughout the entire country. Having been bi costal, I worked in NY city, the lower east side of Washington DC, all of San Diego, and throughout Orange county. I have been a successful therapist, clinical supervisor and program director of many different centers and my ultimate goal is to serve those who I am working with and help them achieve their goals. Working is my passion and I love every aspect of it. Whether it be working with a client, helping them to reach their goals and highest potentials in life; or if I am supervising interns to become the most caring and compassionate therapist entering the field; or whether it be creating a new program to run for new clients to attend so that they are able to successfully live life on life's terms by learning how to achieve recovery.

I currently live in Orange County with my two children, one boy and one girl and two dogs (one boy and one girl) I went to UCSD for my undergraduate degree and National University for my Master's. I was a competitive gymnast growing up as well as a swimmer. I also coached a girl in gymnastics who went on to compete in the Olympics and won gold twice. I hope that I will have the pleasure of walking your journey with you.
